Answers to the most common questions from merchants, partners, and developers.
How long does it take to get deposits?
The PaidYET gateway instantly submits batches for deposit depending on a merchant's batch close time, which can be set in the merchant dashboard under settings. Depending on a merchant's deposit setup with their merchant bank, deposits typically take 1–2 business days.
How long does setup and activation take?
Integration time depends on the integration type chosen. Payment links and No-API options can be connected the same day. Integrating with the REST API or SDK may take additional development time. Merchant setups are very quick and easy using our support team or Partner Portal — most merchants are live within 24 hours of approval.
What terminals are compatible with PaidYET?
PaidYET is compatible with the full suite of PAX desktop, PIN Pad, Mobile, and POS devices — supporting chip, dip (EMV), swipe, tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Merchants can email [email protected], contact their ISO, merchant bank, or processing provider, or contact their software provider to check availability and place an order.
Do you have co-branding, white label, and PayFac options?
Yes. PaidYET has multiple options for partners, including powered-by hosted options, full white label branding solutions, and built-in PayFac services for partners that want to manage their own payment processing setups and customer service. The partner portal can be customized and the PayFacHub platform is fully compatible. Contact us for sponsor bank referrals and more information on how to get started.
Can we integrate the API for tokens, recurring billing, and cardholder storage?
Yes. PaidYET's advanced REST API is incredibly flexible and robust. You can push and pull data including tokens, transaction history, and schedule new payments. Create recurring billing schedules or store cardholder info for a later time. Check out our developer documentation or contact [email protected] to find the best solution for your business.
Is a merchant account required to use PaidYET?
Merchants can either utilize an existing merchant account or we would be happy to connect them with one of our processing or banking partners to get a new merchant account set up quickly and easily.
What is a vPOS, vTerm, and Payment Link?
The vPOS is a virtual point-of-sale that sends a dollar amount from the merchant dashboard to a physical card reader in-store. Cardholders can swipe, chip/dip (EMV), or use Apple Pay/Google Pay. vTerm is a virtual terminal in the merchant dashboard that allows merchants to manually enter card numbers for processing or to save as a card-on-file. A payment link is a secure, unique URL merchants can send to customers so they can pay at their convenience. All three keep card data secure via PaidYET's tokenization layer.
How does PaidYET keep data secure?
PaidYET uses the most advanced PCI Level 1 compliant technology while following the industry's most stringent security processes and procedures. We protect sensitive data across the entire platform using tokenization, encryption, embedded API data fields, hosted payment pages, and SecuredYET™ — our machine learning fraud and risk mitigation system that runs on every transaction, 24/7.
How long does it take to get trained on PaidYET?
Learning PaidYET is fast. Partners can use our API documentation or contact our tech support team for integration help. Merchants can access learning videos about the Merchant Dashboard or contact our customer service team any time. Most merchants are comfortable and processing independently within their first day on the platform.
What is a PaidYET sandbox and how do I get one?
PaidYET's sandbox is a secure testing environment that simulates the full payment process flow, allowing you to refine your integration before going live. Request a sandbox account by emailing [email protected] or through the developers page. Full API access is included at no cost.
What payment methods does PaidYET support?
PaidYET supports all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover), chip/dip (EMV), swipe, NFC contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, and eCheck depending on your merchant account configuration. Payment method availability may vary by processor and merchant account type.
What is PCI Level 1 certification and why does it matter?
PCI Level 1 is the highest certification level under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). It applies to organizations processing over 6 million card transactions per year and requires the most stringent security audits. By using PaidYET's PCI Level 1 certified infrastructure, your merchants benefit from enterprise-grade security without needing their own certification.
