What's the difference between All-Inclusive and the other processing options?
All-Inclusive (3.5% + $0.35) is one flat rate that covers everything -- including unlimited API keys -- with no separate monthly base fee. The other options pair a monthly base plan with lower per-transaction rates as volume grows.
Do I need a merchant account to use PaidYET?
Yes. In step 2, simply choose whichever option fits you best. Connect an existing merchant account with "Bring Your Own" at no additional cost, or we'll connect you with one of our banking and processing partners to set one up quickly.
How does surcharge or cash discount work?
When enabled, the processing fee is added to the customer's checkout total -- merchants pay 0% out of pocket. We handle compliance with card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and applicable state regulations.
Can I change my base plan or processing preference later?
Yes -- base plan and processing preferences can easily be changed. Partners and PaidYET support teams will help you optimize your plan as your volume grows and business evolves.
What is PayFac ready and how does it work?
Every PaidYET plan supports the Payment Facilitator model and is fully compatible with PayFacHub. Software companies that want to become their own PayFac can use PaidYET's infrastructure. Contact us for sponsor bank referrals and setup guidance.
How is ACH pricing determined?
ACH rates vary by industry and transaction profile, ranging from 0% + $0.25 to 0.5% + $2.50. Contact [email protected] for a custom ACH quote based on your specific use case and volume.
What is the taap(it) Pocket Terminal™ ?
The taap(it) Pocket Terminal turns online transactions into tap-to-pay. Consumers can tap their card, watch, or another phone onto their own device. This proprietary tool lowers card rates and mitigates fraud.
Are all processing options available to every business?
All processing options are subject to application approval. Availability and rates may vary by industry, business type, and processing history. Enterprise and certain add-on options have additional qualification requirements.
